As a Registered Nurse, you will perform an age-specific plan of care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
In this role, you will be responsible for the initial and on-going assessment of patients. The rn develops, implements and evaluates a plan of nursing care for assigned patients and families to address safety, educate patient / family, and plan discharge.
The Emergency Department Registered Professional Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. She/he implements the Nursing Service standards of care and practice, as appropriate to the ages of the patients served and the areas of clinical practice.
This position guides, directs, teachers, evaluates and counsels unit staff in providing professional care while complying with policy and procedures. She/he acts as a clinical educator implementing the nursing practice model, nursing process and provides direct patient care as needed.
