The Operations Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical support for various Arcadia software offerings. This position works in concert with the Engineering, Infrastructure, , and Account Management teams to monitor system and job performance and ensure that issues are resolved completely and efficiently. Support Engineers deliver effective technical customer support to our rapidly growing customer base in a tiered escalation model.
Perform studies of proposed system expansion with consideration given to service reliability, safety, operation and engineering economics. This includes the preparation of reports covering recommended and alternate plans to satisfy load growth and reliable system operation.
Highly independent position providing solutions, support and repair of commercial mechanical and electrical equipment and auxiliary systems which include air handling units, centrifugal pumps, motors, compressors and refrigeration components. Responsible for oversight and maintenance of a large commercial complex with a variety of complicated and unique systems in place.
In this role, the selected candidate will monitor conditions, recommend and implement changes to the production environment that improve the stability, performance and security of a large scale Linux computing platform.
Coordinate and triage software issues from the Help Desk, assist with the deployment of fixes & enhancements; responsibility for design, monitoring and reporting of automated testing & regression suites.
