Patent Paralegals will be considered if they have filed applications and responses with the USPTO and if they are comfortable instructing foreign agents on filings, prepared assignments and declarations.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare and process requests for provider contracts, letters of agreement, contract amendments, and notices; review provider documents, including provider application, attestations, and credentials.
The candidate must have the ability to multitask and will be responsible for data entry, client interaction and assisting the attorney in processing various types of real estate transactions and some probate matters when necessary. The candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate professionally and effectively with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, buyers and sellers. Candidate must be familiar with TRID regulations.
Responsible for US and international patent filings, patent nationalizations into the US and foreign jurisdictions, as well as foreign filings under other conventions; responsible for preparing all documents required in connection with US, PCT and foreign applications; preparation of simple responses to official communication and notifications.
Provide project based assistance to the Legal and M&A Departments including industry and corporate research, data analysis, project management, contract review and data entry. Draft memos, correspondence and other documents as appropriate.
Assist with review of basic commercial contract documents such as work orders, statements of work (SOWs), product schedules, pricing schedules, etc. (ideally for IT professional services contracts, software license agreements, computer hardware sale agreements).
