The Sr. Manager Business Partner establishes and leads governance processes on direct and indirect spend. This partner will also seek to understand technology and partnering needs of the Digital Health business and enabling internal functions to ensure that the Global Procurement team is ready with the skills and supply base to support the emerging needs.
Coordinate and monitor procurement and contract administration efforts. Negotiates, manages and leverages agreements at a project or program level. Negotiates and manages favorable supplier agreements. Reviews managements decisions on equipment and material needs related to particular assignments and to provide procurement support at a project or program level.
Provides global operations leadership to assigned new product development projects. Responsible for developing operations strategy, assembling team and development/execution of operations project plan from project charter through the hand-off to the manufacturing/supplier site all the way to global launch.
Work with appropriate contacts and maintain good working relationships within identified global strategic accounts. Initiate work streams to Enhance customer experience, balancing service levels, responsiveness and agility.
The Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the cradle to grave strategic sourcing workflow. Responsibilities will include partnering with LCPS business partners to plan and select third party service providers, conduct risk assessments, negotiate business terms, finalize required due diligence, report exceptions, oversee ongoing monitoring, and lead quarterly/annual business reviews.
This successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders in the regional hubs to develop effective cost reduction strategies and change management plans. The MRO Category Manager will capture savings through consolidating global company-wide purchasing volume and applying total cost of ownership levers to reduce cost and mange contracts with suppliers.
Solicits proposals from vendors and negotiates the best possible deal for materials and services, taking into account the quality, service and price for each proposal business management, and manufacturing plants, and serves as a facilitator between the business units and operations.
You will also be called upon to contribute to the broader supply management agenda - demonstrating the right values and behaviors with high emotional intelligence in working with a disbursed stakeholder base.
