In this role, the selected candidate will sell highly customized printing and decorating solutions for production lines that are printing and decorating glass, ceramic, plastic and metal items in high volumes.
The Industrial Engineer (IE) will execute all aspects of the development, implementation and improvement of integrated manufacturing systems and operations for the UTAS Engine & Environmental Control Systems manufacturing sites in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Close coordination with the leadership / management team is a must to ensure alignment with our customers needs and to drive high performance.
In this role, the selected candidate must be able to work directly with customers in machine building (I.e. OEM) as well as manufacturers and coordinate projects with engineering department developing detailed Electrical Power and Programmable Controls system designs from "napkin sketches" and then evangelizing projects as they are fabricated and commissioned.
In this role, you will review operating data to detect changes in boiler efficiency, operating boiler conditions and provide recommendations for operating refinements that could improve equipment performance and prevent equipment damage.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead and participate in scheduled and informal performance improvement events; implement continuous improvement methods in factory and administrative functional areas.
In this role, you will guarantee the application of Industrial standards by participating to the design, and to product development in association with the Product Engineering Service, in order to insure a deployment of an industrial product answering to the QCD objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs to maximize efficiency of manufacturing and delivering products including internal and external manufacturing sources.
