The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for oversight in ModusLink Corps Global facilities, including sites in USA, Mexico, Europe, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia. The Facilities Manager will negotiate current and future leases and/or sales of existing buildings and property, and assure growth and/or contraction meets fiscal and capacity needs going forward.
In this role, the selected candidate will work directly with a highly diverse cross functional team of campus executives and managers, deans and department heads, internal business experts and business analysts as well as representatives from state and local agencies to coordinate project components and construction impacts with the campus community.
The Facility Manager must establish, operate, and maintain a comprehensive Facility Management program which allows an organization to manage and oversee the Operations and Maintenance of the Building, Building Systems and Equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop strategic asset plans for assigned properties by traveling to properties to understand existing conditions, inspect work progress or validate completed project meets company standards.
In this role, the selected candidate creates, maintains, and communicates efficient and timely employee schedules according to the staffing needs of the facility to ensure adequate staffing on a daily basis.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for implementing a preventive maintenance and building security programs at all Open Door facilities (twelve buildings, two mobile dental vans and eight school-based health centers located across seven communities in Westchester and Putnam counties).
In this role, you should be able to perform work with minimal direction and communicate well with team members, management, Security, EHS, internal customers, bargaining unit, outside contractors and vendors.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the management of services and processes for supporting the day to day operations of Alpha Analytical and addressing issues as soon as they arise with respect to the facilities.
