Develop, input and manage the execution of the strategic marketing plan (multi-year and annual) for the business segment which includes identifying the strategies, tactics, programs, initiatives and their spend, to further expand the market leadership position.
Develop and deliver the annual Staplingmarketing plan to include target definition and key insights, messaging and substantiating proof points, pricing strategy, competitive strengths,weaknesses and strategy.
Establish collaborative relationships with Marketing through frequent communication and interaction to understand needs and optimize the effectiveness of the Marketing Operations group in operationally supporting the Commercial organization; Ultimately evolve the function to strategic partner status with brand teams.
The director will lead all cross-functional teams on all projects internally, and the multiple creative partners externally, to deliver robust and innovative launch pipelines, along with effective and high-quality go-to-market programs.
Formulate a global marketing campaigns plan, complete with budget and objectives, utilizing multiple tactics such as tradeshows, seminars, telemarketing, email marketing, online advertising and direct marketing.
Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Plans and executes marketing strategies and programs based on a deep familiarity and understanding of the customer's products, markets and strategic goals.
Partner with marketing leaders across all major functions to measure and review progress against goals. Strong emphasis on ensuring any deviations are shared as appropriate and proactively offering contingency scenarios to optimally use our allocated resources.
