This position oversees a team of analysts and the administration of GPO (National & Regional), Local, and Direct agreements of BDs Commercial Consumable Sales Contracts for all US business segments Local and Direct Agreements (currently excluding BioSciences, Diabetes Care and Pharmaceutical Systems).
The ideal candidate will act as the the primary interface with Customers' Buying functions. Must possess excellent negotiating skills, and be prepared to adequately communicate the company's negotiation positions.
The candidate will provide governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract, offering solutions to mitigate contractual/program risks, acting as a focal point of contact with the customer for all contractual matters.
The Contracts Administrator will serve as a primary point of contact with internal and external parties in relation to contract negotiation, contract management, contract compliance, contract issues, privacy, patent and trademark, and other legal support.
Oversee and ensure proper execution of the approved annual Needs Assessment, Pre-Authorization and Service Request processes including modifications that require administrative, HCC and or legal approval.
Serve as Contracts Representative to the Program Office Integrated Product Team and provide guidance, interpretation, advice and counsel to the Integrated Product Teams and Program management, regarding Contract matters.
Lead post-signature commercial contract operations including initial price eligibility at contract commencement, contract updates (adds/deletes, pricing changes, renewals, and expires), and dealer contract notifications
Ensure the timely routing and review of all master manufacturing records (MRs), standard operations procedures (SOPs), tech transfer reports, validation master plans, and other documentation related to clinical and commercial drug product manufacturing at contractors and/or business partners.
Review and acknowledgements, flow down of contract requirements, identification of contract and business risk, accounts receivable monitoring/reporting, audit support and contract closeout, as well as company initiatives including continuous improvement, standard work, and business financial goals.
