The Technical Project Manager II Federal acts as the single point of contact for complex installation and construction projects for communication networks responsible for all Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) project activities. Working in conjunction with the OSP and ISP Managers, coordinates and oversees all aspects of projects from proposal development through financial closeout.
The it project manager will be required to work closely with the client, coordinating key relationships, aligning efforts, resolving issues and conflicts, and communicating timely status/progress to multiple technical, business, and program stakeholders.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide overall program management support for the project resources and ensuring that all of the project's work products align with the client enterprise architecture strategic direction. Work in conjunction with the client Project Managers and other client staff and project staff.
In this role, you will maintain responsibility for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned systems and software development projects, and provide a single point of contact for those projects.
In this role, the selected candidate must be an expert in implementing backend features, for instance building APIs, implementing business logic functionality, interfacing with databases, integrating with services.
The selected candidate will lead a proposal team in executing a formal bid and proposal for an external customer, including assisting in the systems engineering and design approach, writing and reviewing proposal sections, and leading the overall bid process.
In this role, the selected candidate will practice project management and industry best practices to enhance project success and customer satisfaction; manage and coordinate ISP/OSP and circuit delivery projects from design through customer acceptance.
In this role, you will plan, manage, and execute varied software development, customization, or IT systems development projects. Gather information at front end to determine project parameters and specifications, and to budget human, financial and other resources. May provide technical oversight to some staff and track attainment of project milestones. Report on progress and budget expenditures to project owners.
The Technical Project Manager will actively lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including project team definition, project planning, documentation, contract management, full project execution, tracking, reporting, rollout, and interfaces with groups both external and internal to support the project and formalized project closure.
