The primary focus will be to maintain system Operational Availability and ensure that information can be collected in the field utilizing the appropriate sensors in a secure manner and can pass Security Audits and Information System Security Assessments relative to Information system security policies and procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
As a Security Analyst, you will support multiple commercial and Federal security engagements assessing security risk, conducting security assesmnts, supporting ISSOs, remediating security vulnerabilities, and providing general security consulting services.
In this role, the selected candidate recognizes potential; successful; and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
Prepare, validate, and maintain security documentation including, but not limited to: system security plan (SSP), risk assessment (RA), contingency plan (CP), privacy impact assessment (PIA), eAuthentication assessment, FIPS categorization .
Perform technology research, hands-on evaluation, and provide technical summary of the solution based on business use cases. Provide review of architecture proposals for systems and application implementations based on security and data protection best practices.
As a Security Engineer/ Analyst, responsibilities would include analyzing systems, applications and code for vulnerabilities, researching threats and attack vectors that impact web applications and infrastructure, participating in security assessments, and control implementation.
