The Director, Business Development provides business growth support for the service lines and related programs at IGL that aligns with organizational vision and goals. S/he coordinates growth initiatives, operational projects, client relations, and development of service line programs and services in collaboration with all Inova departments, units, and hospitals.
The individual in this position will work with the US&C VP of Productivity Product Sales to define goals and strategic plans to drive S&PS adoption of our solutions across both named strategic end user target accounts and the territory as a whole.
In this role, you will be responsible for all areas of the Customer Engagement Process (CEP) including identification, qualification, pursuit, and capture of new business opportunities within the Space and Intelligence Community (IC).
Manage and develop a team of high performance business development and sales professionals. Oversee new contact negotiations and license agreements, pipeline development in salesforce.Com, and drive accurate monthly forecasting.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for growing the sales pipeline by building and leading a team of Enterprise Account Executives who successfully deliver on their respective software sales goals.
Coordinate pricing and service configuration functions with the appropriate vice president, controller and sales manager and develops prospect list of qualified leads and performs preliminary research to identify clients need and goals.
