Designs, implements, and maintains networks built on Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches. Requires Subject Matter Expertise with Cisco routers / switches / firewalls serving Linux and Windows applications with VMWare.

Serves as nt engineer responsible for supporting and administering the health and welfare of nt server systems and associated applications. Troubleshoots systems at the os and hardware level using all available technical resources to resolve current and potential problems. Identifies ways to improve systems.
The Systems Engineer will support Information Assurance (IA) projects involving all phases of information assurance related to network operations. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
In-depth understanding of networking systems, network infrastructure security appliances, and TCP/IP to include experience in IP Addressing and Subnetting; Network Address Translations; MTUs; and Quality of Service.
