The Senior Technical Project Manager will be a member of The Enterprise Operations and Security Staff (EOSS) that supports the Army National Guard (ARNG) wide area network and systems to all States and Territories.
This individual will serve as the manager for large, complex network integration projects (or a group of task orders affecting the same common/standard/migration system) and shall assist the Regional Manager in working with the Government's authorized representative and customer agency representatives.
In this role, you will maintain responsibility for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned systems and software development projects, and provide a single point of contact for those projects.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide overall program management support for the project resources and ensuring that all of the project's work products align with the client enterprise architecture strategic direction. Work in conjunction with the client Project Managers and other client staff and project staff.
The it project manager will be required to work closely with the client, coordinating key relationships, aligning efforts, resolving issues and conflicts, and communicating timely status/progress to multiple technical, business, and program stakeholders.
In this role you will be responsible to identify, define and manage the overall program project plan, execution, resource management, issue tracking, quality, change management, risk management, communications and budget.
The Technical Project Manager will actively lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including project team definition, project planning, documentation, contract management, full project execution, tracking, reporting, rollout, and interfaces with groups both external and internal to support the project and formalized project closure.
The Technical Project Manager II Federal acts as the single point of contact for complex installation and construction projects for communication networks responsible for all Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) project activities. Working in conjunction with the OSP and ISP Managers, coordinates and oversees all aspects of projects from proposal development through financial closeout.
The selected candidate will lead a proposal team in executing a formal bid and proposal for an external customer, including assisting in the systems engineering and design approach, writing and reviewing proposal sections, and leading the overall bid process.
