Perform Patient and Quality Control (QC) testing, develops skills and maintains competency in routine, specials and assigned laboratory areas; maintain proper inventories and correctly uses supplies and reagents.
In this role, the selected candidate will supervise, monitors and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care, including, when appropriate, in home evaluations of field staff. Reviews and monitors appropriateness of Nursing Care Plans and directs the staff to modify the plan as needed.
The Oncology Research Nurse Specialist assists with the coordination of clinical, regulatory, business, and other research-related activities and documentation for clinical trials conducted by the Levine Cancer Institute, following industry standards and applicable regulations including FDA/OHRP guidance's, GCP and ICH.
In this role, you will perform concurrent MDS review to insure appropriate RUGs category is achieved through the capture of appropriate clinical information. Identifies opportunities to enhance reimbursement.
