In this role, you will manage legal risk for assigned field based programs in Latin America. Responsibilities for programs in other regions in which CI operates may be assigned depending on CIs needs and the AGCs experience and interest.
The position reports to the VP, Associate General Counsel. The successful candidate will be a member of the enterprise legal team responsible for providing advice and counsel primarily on corporate governance issues, as well as other general corporate matters as needed.
This position is responsible for managing, including drafting and negotiating, a wide range of transactions, including transactions in support of the Companys digital/mobile initiatives, complex procurement and outsourcing contracts, business line partnerships, alliances and other business agreements, portfolio sales and acquisitions, marketing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions, including leading complex due diligence reviews.
The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for providing a broad range of legal services with a significant focus on general corporate matters and drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer contracts and transactional documentation.
