Provides technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conduction systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
Familiarity/working knowledge of system engineering concepts. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies and recommended requirements allocation to translate customer requirements into system level specifications.
Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established information assurance (ia) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
In this role, you will be responsible for complete designs, analyses, or design reviews. Generate complete design specifications for more complex projects. May provide training to less experienced engineers.
This position will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems. An intimate knowledge of electrical switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, emergency generators and protective relays. This individual must be able direct and supervise electrical power installations and repairs.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide system administration support for and interact with our large team of software developers; set up, configure and support Linux/Windows servers and Network Equipment on a TCP/IP network.
