This position will demonstrate a solid understanding of the company's systems and business processes and requirements for new products/platforms/systems including system enhancements across multiple Sallie Mae Bank operational areas including some third party vendors.

This position is responsible for application administration for selected systems and performing process analysis to oversee the efficient and effective operation of the Financial Systems applications and underlying architecture while also understanding the business functional requirements.
The Analyst in this role will administer the firms business system to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely information, develop queries & reports (they need someone who has written queries from scratch in SQL) to generate regularly scheduled & ad-hoc reports (through Cognos and Access).
Provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications. Includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and configuration.
