Apply expert knowledge of chemical, mechanical, and controls engineering to analyze operating systems requirements and provide opinions on feasibility. Research and analyze data to define mission requirements and prepare concise briefing materials.
The selected candidate will have high proficiency in Composites Materials and Processes and a working knowledge of related materials & processes engineering disciplines that include standard parts design, qualified materials suppliers, and qualified special processors.
Perform engineering tasks using established procedures, these include, but are not limited to, automation equipment selection, schematic design, system layout, cost estimation and system documentation.
Develops in collaboration with Process Technology, Business Units and Operations and assures adherence to a standard Basis of Design (BOD) package which includes Scope of Work, PFDs, P&IDs and material balances.
