In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Subject Matter Expert (SME) technical review of hazard analyses per the Joint Safety Schedule and invoked MIL-STD882E requirements, ensuring safety and environmental hazards receive appropriate review and adjudication.
The Product Safety Engineer will create solutions that reduce or eliminate safety issues associated with products. They participate in the design process for new products in order to prevent injuries, damage to the environment, or to property.
In this role, you will perform design reviews for egress, building construction, automatic sprinkler, fire alarm, and mechanical smoke control systems to ensure compliance of Marriott standards, system performance, equipment selection, construct ability, maintainability, building code conformance, and sequencing.

and research issues related to complex safety database searches that are not able to be completed utilizing the available safety data applications in support of periodic, operational, partner, audit, inspection, and regulatory ad hoc queries.
