The Software Engineer will develop and maintain extract/transform/load routines to gather data from various data sources and for developing applications to support the departments research and reporting needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creating database objects in the global library, developing data entry screens, programming and testing of data quality checks, participating in software validation and testing of applications.
Assist in development of the Windows Development and Production Environment (WDPE), which is a project that is mandated to establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform.
Lead the development of data retrieval and data management for Evolent Health. Responsible for ensuring that the data assets of an organization are aligned with the organization in achieving its strategic goals. The architecture should cover databases, data integration and the means to get to the data.
Perform high-level web application and database design functions centered on .NET technologies, analyzing intelligence functional requirements and developing design specifications to satisfy intelligence mission requirements.
Ensure security enhancements to the existing SQL code. Install, tune and administer SQL 2014 Clusters including Always on Availability Groups, Author design documents, build procedure, test procedures.
Design and support population of data warehouse-like solution to meet customer requirements within the constraints of the current business IT environment, supporting the upload and metadata tagging of data from shared drive and sharepoint sources.
Change management/implementation: independently review, implement, and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and risk to meet customer and/or trade/company information technology infrastructure needs. May lead or participate in a change advisory board.
