In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, training and mentoring to the HR team. Managing the Human Resource functions such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Manage HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of client accounts operating within Canada. Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for change.
The ideal candidate will possess full-lifecycle HR Generalist experience and be able to function autonomously as an "HR department of one" while collaborating with the other business functions in the organization.
Proactively work with the business to implement talent management programs to improve leadership capabilities, ensure succession planning, high potential identification and development objectives are achieved.
In this role, you will provide direction and oversight on the delivery of our weekly New Hire Orientation programs, and lead the project implementation of our newly created onboarding program focused on employee assimilation and retention.
Ensures that the Companys talent and people strategy is championed and executed effectively by leadership and line managers; anticipate and assesses the gaps between business needs and people capabilities and drives appropriate actions.
Responsible to direct the human resources activities within the center including staff recruitment, training and updating center staff on company personnel policies, procedures, and regulations and monitoring and evaluating human resources systems
Support and guide field Human Resources professionals regarding onsite investigations; direct appropriate resolutions to field Human Resources professionals on all escalated employment relations issues.
Provide full range of day to day HR support for the business including staffing, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, benefits, compensation and training & development.
Develop and implement strategic workforce planning for the site; lead recruiting plans and identification of talent. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) to ensure effective execution of Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS processes and programs.
