Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
This position works closely with faculty, staff and students in a collaborative manner to support various academic, research and healthcare needs across the institution. This position plays a major role in supporting core infrastructure and department specific services across various colleges and business units at the University.
Perform Network/Server utilization/Assessments/Monitoring. Provide monthly utilization and up time reports for all company locations; evaluate and implement opportunities for automation, tools & exception based alerts for the services listed above.
Provides network administration of network, web, and/or communication systems, including local area network (lan) and wide area network (wan) systems, involving network security. Prepares technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
Provide hardware and software technical support for loading software and verifying system configurations; preparing mission servers and collection devices; troubleshooting systems; and creating system documentation.
Monitor and troubleshooting Call Center System (ACD) Proficient in administering VoIP Document logical and physical network design changes Switching protocols Spanning Tree, VTP, port grouping Layer networking (MPLS, etc).
Assist in the management of and administration for our multi-site network infrastructure; primary responsibilities will consist of configuring implementing and maintaining network devices, performing monitoring and troubleshooting functions.
Server & client administration (planning, architecting, implementing, optimizing, tuning, patching, troubleshooting, etc.) of Windows-based systems; administer and maintain AD, GPO, MS Exchange, DNS, DHCP and related services in O365 environment.
