The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security); collaboration will be both in-person and virtual/remote so demonstrated experience in both is important.
Resolve general Associate Relations issue including conducting employee relations investigations and fact finding; administer company's correction action process in partnership with DC HR Mgr; assist with unemployment claim information and unemployment hearings.
Resolve HR related issues, conduct research and provide interpretation of HR policies and business rules, develop and present HR briefings, and evaluate business practices/procedures while providing recommendations for improving performance.
This position will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager with a broad array of human resource functions including recruiting, employee relations, benefits coordination, and employee on and off boarding as well as a variety of additional tasks as provided.
Provides direct consultative and strategic partnering to senior business / functional leaders to maximize performance of the organization. Counsel to include but not be limited to matters of rewards, team dynamics, organizational development, organization design changes and cultural initiatives as needed to meet business objectives.

Provide recruiting support including; reviewing, posting and tracking job description on applicable websites, provides preliminary screening of applicants for compliance, preparing applicant packages for component review, tracking applicant package status, providing reports and metrics on recruiting processes, communicating with applicants and employees to arrange appointments, and collecting, inputting, and disbursing information. Participation in job fairs and other recruiting efforts.
This role is responsible for providing HR leadership in support of local business goals, enterprise and sector HR strategies within the DePuy Synthes Business organization and actively supports business leaders through Coaching, Talent Management, Organizational Design, Change Management, and Business Partnering.
