Utilizes administration skills (Windows, Active Directory, McAfee, Citrix, Email as appropriate) to maintain, manage, administer access and controls, and upgrades of the server infrastructure as well as provide 24x7 system support. Provides production and development support for the installed Infrastructure Applications.
The Application Support Engineers are responsible for the Build Engineering, Operations, Monitoring and Deployment of our Platform Tools offerings. This includes the development of automated deployment solutions.
Assess new and existing applications and system deployments for vulnerabilities and design flaws, and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk; research threats and attack vectors that impact web applications and infrastructure and stay up-to-date with current web application security threats.
Design and develop new applications, programs, workflows and interfaces based on requirements and directives; design workflows that facilitate electronic creation, transmission, and delivery of documents.
Work closely with the Scrum Master and Application Development Lead to ensure team and organization standards are followed and the team is consistently focused on continuous improvements and sustained delivery.
The remote Engineering Crew coordinates with any required resources across the Enterprise to resolve operational issues, working with other 24x7 engineering crews across multiple locations providing enterprise level maintenance support, with high visibility into all actions and response.
Must have the ability and desire to see a project through to a successful conclusion which should include our being either awarded the customers packaging business or the retention of the business we already have.
