Responsible for the both the design and development of a product to meet specific customer requirements as well as review and check calculations, design models, drawings and design documents for functionality, quality, accuracy, neatness and satisfactory completion.
Ensure security enhancements to the existing SQL code. Install, tune and administer SQL 2014 Clusters including Always on Availability Groups, Author design documents, build procedure, test procedures.
The selected candidate will have high proficiency in Wing Design that includes primary and secondary designs, composite design, structural internal and external arrangement, and identifying effective load paths while accommodating equipment and systems to include wiring and tubing.
In this role, you will provide electrical design and test for low power, high frequency magnetic components. This includes design of new products and solving electrical-related problems on existing products.
Perform calculations for projects, such as lighting illuminance, electrical loads, equipment selection and sizing, feeder sizing, energy calculations, voltage drop calculations, short circuit/coordination studies, etc.
Communicate with management, engineering team, platform, production, and marketing staff utilizing effective proactive engineering tools to determine design feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer acceptance for new and current products and refine requirements when necessary.
The successful candidate will provide technical advice (to include training, guidance, support, and development assistance) to KAI engineers while guiding concept development through the appropriate application of analysis methodologies, ground test, and flight test to achieve a balanced design solution that meets customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have a broad set of skills and experience in a variety of electrical engineering specialties including, embedded microprocessor control, firmware development, drive circuits, power electronics, and EMC design best practices.
Work with mechanical, electrical, thermal, and other engineering disciplines to develop platform/module/board level electronic packaging insuring components operate within the required thermal envelop.
