The Senior Contracts Specialist will support the customer requirements in all aspects of pre-award and post-award contract administration, including market research, providing business advice to customers, preparing acquisition and award packages, including all related acquisition documents.
In this role, you will serve as a senior subject matter expert in procurement principles and technical or program requirements and provides an appropriate level of support to the Business Process Re-engineering Trial project leader.
In this role, you will be responsible to provide support with contract administration actions such as: modifications, option exercises, business clearance memoranda to file, post-award kick-off activities, and IT.
In this role, you will coordinate with multiple cross-departmental functions regarding contract terms and assist in audits of contracts. Obtain all appropriate and necessary internal approvals for contract terms and provisions.
In this role, you will conducts negotiation and administration of government prime contracts and subcontracts to other prime government contracts. In addition, may include other agreements such as teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
Lead cradle-to-grave contract activities, such as conducting market research, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, performing cost/price evaluations, assisting with negotiating positions, reviewing and processing invoices.
The Sr. Contract Specialist is responsible for coordinating with little supervision through interaction with, Account Directors, Contract Strategy, Legal and others, following all relevant SOPs and contract approval processes, to ensure contracts and all related documents are prepared and executed accurately and in a timely manner.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures, as well as proposed rates, costs and/or prices.
