In this role, the selected candidate will provide appropriate perianesthetic invasive and non-invasive monitoring utilizing current standards and techniques and responding to abnormal findings with corrective action.
Perform and documents timely pre-anesthesia assessments: Review of medical history (including anesthesia, drug and allergy history); Focus physical examination (heart, lungs, airway, ASA classification); Plan for anesthesia care.
Provides anesthesia care in the Operating Room in support of surgical, diagnostic and, therapeutic procedures under general supervision of an anesthesiologist. Provides preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned nursing unit.
