In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring a laboring patient on Cytotec, intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC), internal scalp electrode (ISE) having a amnioinfusion, and assisting a physician with doing a external cephalic version (ECV).
The RN Unit registered nurse delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulation.
In this role, you will provide complex medical / surgical care, care for medically fragile children and restorative care, telemetry, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, chest tubes, traction, Bi - pap ventilation, apnea monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia phototherapy, and IV therapy, as well as postoperative open - heart surgery.
In this role, you will associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for an individual with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care.
The Registered Nurse performs nursing assessment, initiates the patients treatment plan for identified patient needs, intervenes according to established standards of care and current acceptable nursing practice, and evaluates results of nursing care--modifying treatment plans as indicated.
