The Project Safety Manager functions as an expert resource to project teams for consistent implementation of company safety standards and programs, provides project-wide safety training, supports preconstruction safety planning, and performs jobsite safety auditing and incident investigating.
The successful candidate will support on-going MRP projects as well as Office-wide initiatives. Projects will include munitions response site assessments and remediation by providing technical field support, technical assistance, and reporting.
The successful candidate will be a determined self-starter who is highly out-going, expected to be socially-poised when interacting with clients, must have the ability to work independently and be eager to execute a high volume of personal client interactions.
The primary objective of this position is to work with wmko observing community, staff and science steering committee to conceive and develop concepts for new instruments and major instrument upgrades, in line with priorities outlined in the wmko science strategic plan.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of construction projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources.
