The Sr. Sales Manager will build strong customer relationships on both the technical and executive level that will position Honeywell for short and long term positive relationships within their assigned product line and market and will be an expert in assigned customer platforms, Honeywell content, Honeywell capabilities and in doing so will understand the business and competitive environment with those customers and will be able to identify short term and long short term growth opportunities for Honeywell.
Responsible for growing the pipeline of sales opportunities, hardware and services, within the KA Band / Iridium (Sky Connect) SATCOM Solutions product line for new aircraft / helicopter / ground vehicle / UAV, etc.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates for the enhancement or development effort in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
Document recommendations formally via service delivery plan and present to customer and virtual account team unit. Use project management methods to document, prioritize, track and drive implementations. Manage the delivery of recommended/agreed-upon services to achieve high customer satisfaction and trust.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture of the system and maintaining an up-to date ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) for all the objects and associations used.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage area(s), or team(s) of support engineers providing remote or phone support to enterprise clients including directing daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, cost management, and direction-setting within the area of responsibility.
