The Applications Security Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of secured solutions and products. Additionally, the Applications Security Engineer will develop and drive AGCOs web application security program as well as support the architecture team.
In this role, you will be responsible for engineering analysis, walkdowns, design development and generation of design output documents for the following types of systems / facilities: intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, fiber optic cable, force protection, perimeter security, alarm monitoring, control stations, and entry control facilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will be part of the Infrastructure Protection Unit within the Information Technology Group; analyze packet captures, network configs, system logs, application code and scripts.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to engage diverse audiences of varying technical and non-technical skill-levels to ensure effective alignment of technical requirements to business objectives.
In this role, you will perform proof-of-concept and proof-of-technology testing for integrating new 3rd party security products into the development and deployment processes. Research new attack vectors in the retail, hospitality and financial industries and in the application security field in general.
The security engineer II is responsible for providing advanced-level implementation, troubleshooting, and operational support for Windstream Managed Network Security products, including Fortinet NGFW and Enterprise firewall solutions, ArcSight SIEM, and managed active DDoS mitigation services.
