As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide quality patient care as a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, PT/OT/SLP therapists and nursing assistants.
Performs all aspects of direct respiratory care according to physicians orders and/or approved protocols. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and makes appropriate recommendations. Provides appropriate ventilator support and maintains and monitors other cardiopulmonary life support equipment. Maintains and properly utilizes respiratory care equipment.
The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist may also participate in providing Respiratory Care services during neonatal transport. The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist will work in Adult care on a rotational basis as needed.
