In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to execute small to medium sized projects in support of improving and optimizing process performance; develop and maintain a budget and schedule for the assigned engineering project.

The selected candidate will also provide troubleshooting and process control support for a continuously operating plant.
In this role, you will lead hazard reviews using HAZOP, What if and checklist methodologies. Be able organize action items from hazard studies, assign to responsible person and track to timely completion.
In this role, you will support commercial manufacturing operations to meet fulfillment targets (lot release timing). Complete CAPA tasks to ensure on time release of lots; product impact assessments, corrective and preventive actions and root cause investigations as needed.
In this role, you will act independently with minimal supervision to initiate and/or conduct studies and improvement projects for product quality, process robustness, product yield and cycle time based on recent technical knowledge.
In this role, you will work closely with the business product managers, quality, finance, sourcing, R & D organization and New Product Introduction teams to manage products long - term direction and life cycle.
This position will act as a trusted resource and engineering expert to the LED Global Operations team and be responsible for analyzing technical information, evaluating technical and process capability of sub-contract manufacturers, defining and executing strategies pertaining to LEDs manufacturing OEM and Sub-Contract strategies globally with a clear and forward looking view of the financial, technical and product design impact of actions.
