The Director of Sales will actively seek out new opportunities and have the ability to effectively interface at multiple levels of a client marketing and operations organization, up to and including C-level executives. This position requires comprehensive prospecting insight, strategic selling skills, excellent active listening, effective qualification abilities as well as attention to detail and strong business acumen.
The Regional Director will be responsible for performing functions to develop business relationships and identify market opportunities to promote the sale of non-qualified plans and related Newport products and services as applicable to third party intermediaries to achieve net revenue goals for business profitability within assigned geographical territory.
In this role, you must have a minimum five years of experience in a similar role; software selling experience; critical infrastructure market experience, ideally in automation or process control markets.
In this role, you will establish and maintain consistent financial operational policies and procedures to govern related practices. Drives identification of best practices related to financial operations policies and procedures; recommends modifications as needed.
In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting accuracy; partners with shared services organizations and ensures adequate control environment to mitigate financial and business risks in collaboration with process owners.
