The Director of Critical Care & Med/Surg is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, the Progressive Care Unit, the Medical Unit and Surgical Unit.
As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the facility. Priority one will be quality care, customer service and employee relations. In addition, regulatory management, responsible for attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform comprehensive client assessments on an ongoing basis to ensure continuity of nursing care; maintain confidentiality of all agency and patient related information.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the functions for the nursing department. You will assume the primary role in ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient nursing care. Supervises Nurse Practitioner, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Nurses, and Nurse Techs.
In this role, you will be responsible to participates in planning, priority setting and the development of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements and aca, ncchc and state standards.
