The position require a strong knowledge of Software Development, mainly with *NIX, Java, J2EE, PHP, Apache, MySql, Oracle and other languages; skill set will be applied to in-house solutions development and deployment using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
The Sr. Quality Engineer develops processes and associated documentation to support complaint and adverse event trending. Works closely with manufacturing sites and R&D to understand critical to quality characteristics/specifications, manufacturing processes, and impact on investigations.
Performs design and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines and/or machines.
Works closely with the L&TD Partner to create a delivery plan for all L&TD portfolio initiatives by managing relationships with vendors, internal and external facilitators and venues to ensure all program logistics are planned and executed to meet or exceed standards of delivery.
Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs for both new and existing applications.
The candidate will also take part in developing deployment strategies to streamline our software delivery. As part of the development team, the candidate will work with local support to troubleshoot and correct defects identified in the software.
This position will develop and deliver complex Enterprise Storage solutions using NetApp storage, Brocade SAN, and Cisco UCS. S/he will participate in the delivery and sustainment of enterprise storage services while supporting the existing storage and SAN (Storage Area Network) fabric infrastructure.
The successful candidate will need to maintain relationships across remote teams of developers building web-based visualizations / interfaces and may involve interacting with users and their data to maximize collaborative project success.
