Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare difficult and complex layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge. Interprets and ensures conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures. Understands and utilizes more advanced software to complete assignments.
Prepare traffic signal design plans including signal layout, metal pole loading diagrams, and electrical programming details in compliance with standards and specifications of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).
Must be capable of functional and architectural definition, floor-planning, simulation, implementation and verification of complex FPGA devices comprising a mix of custom RTL with hard and soft vendor IP cores.
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of technology training programs for end users of company software applications and analyze training needs and create training materials in a variety of formats.
Research, analysis and high level system design to support new and evolving 3GPP LTE baseband features. Close and continuous collaboration with peers in FPGA design and software design using the Agile development methodology.
Responsible for test plan creation and fulfillment to include:oversight of construction and testing of pilot run models assigned, writing test procedures as required, analyzing test data, and making necessary changes and improvements.
Work with Technical Directors, engine team, and production to improve tools, methods, task management, etc.; stay current with innovations in game development technology and
production methodologies to innovation to the project.
