Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities.
Works closely with IT architects, other functional area architects and security specialists to ensure proposed architecture designs for eCommerce and Infrastructure related projects are designed with information security best practices based on level of risk.
Collaborate across the engineering and operations organization to advise on secure architecture / design, attack surface area reduction, least privileged design, threat mitigations, and security best practices.
The perfect candidate will be both an individual subject matter expert as well as a project leader. You are focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success in highly technical roles related to the security, privacy, and trust of products, technology, and solutions.
You will evaluate and test security architectures including Cisco products, third party technologies and services, and locally developed toolsets and partner with Webex product development to influence product roadmaps and adoption.
Works closely with IT architects, other functional area architects and security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Interface with auditors for SOC2, ISO27K, PCI, etc. and sign off on audit questionnaires e.g., CSA self attestation, PCI/SOC2 reports; work with clients Cloud PaaS Offering Management on defining security roadmap.

Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities.
Responsible for engineering design for platforms, systems and infrastructure for security. Works with interdisciplinary teams, including line-of-business staff, business technology teams, operational support teams, and various GT&O organizations in order to execute the design and support the implementation of these projects. As part of the design process, considers aspects such as life-cycle cost, application reliability, data security, facilities availability, technology process, and delivery schedule.
