Responsible for reporting issues to management and participating in issue resolution ( such as reporting OOS result and participating in associated laboratory investigation, reporting instrument issues and assisting with troubleshooting, etc. )
The Research Scientist is a member of the Global Research and Evaluation faculty whose focus is making significant contributions to theories in leadership, leadership development, or other relevant disciplines and generating innovative ideas or approaches for CCL.
The fellow will be assigned a supervisor and a mentor, both of whom are experts in the field of leadership development and/or evaluation; will be supported in identifying opportunities to attend professional conferences and present or co-present with a CCL faculty member; and will be able to attend colloquia offered at CCL by internal and external speakers.
Conducting wetland delineations, regulatory permitting, impact assessment, report preparation, mitigation planning, restoration or mitigation site monitoring, construction monitoring, endangered species surveys, wildlife habitat evaluations, interactions with clients and local, state and federal agencies, and public hearing presentations.
Serve as project director or task lead for research, evaluation, and technical assistance projects in career and technical education, workforce training programs, adult education, and correctional education.
Serve as an allsource intelligence analyst to provide rapid turnaround, operational level, and senior allsource analysis to enhance supported Headquarters ability to conduct overseas contingency operations in support of the Joint Warfighter, Combatant Commands, and Theater Special Operations Commands.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead proposals and projects for government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources to conduct research and evaluation of nutrition interventions and health behaviors in an international context.
