This position will lead the implementation of SSC HR programs. Responsibilities include culture/recognition, recruiting, leadership development, HR strategy development and execution, organizational design, change management, diversity, and HR special projects.
Build relationships with employees of all levels and become a trusted advisor, motivator, and confidant for areas including (but not limited to) job satisfaction, career planning, compensation, and conflict resolution.
Create a communication and training plan to ensure all employees are fully aware of process or tool changes; create plans that accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted by the change.
The Human Resources Manager will drive business results by translating strategy into concrete actions and tangible outcomes. The HRM will champion culture and shape organizational structure by aligning human capital with the organizations mission, vision and values.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors development planning, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing; writes job descriptions and works with corporate recruiter to write ads.
Responsible for maintaining associate relations/union avoidance plan and environment. Responsible for managing payroll, compensation, benefit, attendance, Inclusion & Diversity and other programs. Recruitment, issuing offers, processing and onboarding of new associates.
Provide internal consulting services regarding the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes. Participate in developing best practices and implementing policies and processes as applicable.
Conducts complex investigations involving highly sensitive matters including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other work-related matters to document findings and make recommendations on appropriate actions.
