The Financial Analysts responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: assistance with internal and external financial reporting, accounting and transactional research and analysis, accounts receivable reserve analysis and development.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform extensive quantitative ad-hoc projects, deep financial analysis related to the Company's debt and capital security footprint and other Global Funding activities and prepare management reporting.
This position is also responsible for providing education, support and explanations to all staff on the data maintained within the financial systems in order to help assure accurate and effective use of the data.
The Financial Analyst will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business unit and will be involved with various financial and strategic business analysis projects. Functions of this role involve financial modeling and forecasting, budgeting support, reporting, and ad hoc analysis projects. Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills are essential.
Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley controls scoping, planning, documentation and testing and providing training/assistance across COCs global plant locations to ensure consistent application of control procedures.
Participates in routine and ad hoc meetings and communicates with departments across the business, Provides input into future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards.
