As the Director of Engineering, you are responsible for building and developing engineering talents, driving functional excellence, including design for six-sigma and lean product development methodologies, cultivating a culture of innovation, and alignment of resources and competencies to meet local and enterprise business needs.
The Senior Director of Engineering and Maintenance is responsible for asset direction, safety management, regulatory compliance, expense monitoring, engineering services, operational budgeting, and multi-tradesmen supervision, and develops, implements, and monitors the implementation of operations-related policies and procedures, and pursues performance and quality improvements.
The Director of Engineering is responsible for critical self-assessments of the current level of compliance for the environment of care and ensures compliance with the Life Safety Code ® (LSC) or an equivalency approved by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Responsible to sustain firewalls, Data Loss Protection systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Database Application Monitoring/Firewalls (DAM/DAF), Internet Content Management (Proxy), Vulnerability Scanning, and other technologies.
Demonstrate very strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of product development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution.
