The Underwriter is responsible for ensuring internal and external customer expectations are met and for timely and accurate renewals and new business quotes through expert analysis of premium rate development and risk evaluation for one of the state's premier non-profit health plan providers.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure that Actuaril and Group underwriting objectives are maintained by monitoring Quality Assurance audit results and key financial results (sales, profit, and persistency)
In this role, you will know the red flags and ensure that issues that fall outside of the Banks and regulatory guidelines are reviewed and escalate questionable issues to management for further review and decisioning.
In this role, the successful candidate will review and evaluate residential mortgage applications and documentation to determine if borrower, property and loan conditions meet investor, FNMA and/or FHLMC underwriting guidelines and render a loan decision ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working directly with Commercial Management, and Regional Credit Officer.
