Develop specific, task-based plans to execute projects with clearly established Estimated Completion Dates (ECDs) for each task. Ensure project plans are incorporated into the Engineering Department integrated schedule.
Works with Project Delivery and post-project M&V teams to enhance and develop best practices, by learning from successes and failures and ensure they are applied onto future projects as continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training to Maintenance team on new equipment purchases and provide supervision for equipment installations; cost Saving Solutions on products regarding production, process, and manufacturing enhancements that benefit the end consumer.
Develops and maintains processes, procedures and work instructions related to scheduling, base lining, updating, monitoring, maintaining, and reporting for engineering portion of various programs/projects.
Liaise closely with all levels of production, engineering, NPD, purchasing and marketing providing clear information where necessary. Use relationships to maintain a network to support Production Strategies.
The Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering guidance to complete assigned engineering projects starting with development of project scope through detail designing, funding approval, project completion scheduling, actual completion of construction and/or equipment installation, start-up validation and documentation.
The position will provide overall project engineering leadership on specific projects, within a particular discipline and is also responsible for developing and presenting engineering solutions to meet client requirements, and leading the team in implementing the solution.
