Responsible for calling on contacts within producer organizations and Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) companies to identify future projects and capture business for new facility design, integration and construction projects.
The Logistics Analyst contributes to and is responsible for the optimization of the transport flows and costs associated with Tenneco (North American inbound, outbound and expedited transport providers). The Logistics Analyst also has responsibility for service and performance levels provided by the transportation supply base.

Develop inventory management program with existing and new vendors to minimize raw materials levels. Track and submit an excess inventory analysis presentation for redistribution/scrap/sale of materials.
This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Global Commodity Strategies designed to leverage worldwide purchase of raw materials, components, and various products required, in support of the Original Equipment and Aftermarket businesses.
Reviews requisitions and confers with departments regarding requirements, specifications, quantity and quality of merchandise, and delivery requirements; recommends alternate suppliers where a savings in cost or improved delivery will result.
Identify large logistics and warehouse automation projects on the horizon and meet with prospects and EPC's, using value propositions to showcase economic value and long-term benefits of the company's product offerings compared to competitor products.
