The Fans / Externals / Nacelles Module Center Engineering team is looking for a Project Engineer. The Engineering organization at Pratt & Whitney is divided into four Module Centers, including Hot Section, Compression and Mechanical Systems, Fans and Externals, and Product Delivery.
Responsible for gathering relevant, factual information and data in order to solve quality related problems; resolve issues by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and guided precedents.
The Senior Software Engineer works closely with business users to understand the processes and requirements that a technology solution will enable, collaborates with the architect to design the artifacts, then works with other application developers to create and deliver a solution.
Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs software or customizes software in order to optimize operational efficiency. Provides project technical leadership.
Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs. Analyzes, designs and writes specifications for programs. Assists support personnel in locating and resolving problems of significance with programs. Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents moderately complex programs.
Participates in the implementation, deployment and maintenance of TRTA Professional online applications and related tooling. Maintain effective working relationships with Thomson Reuters Data Center and TRTA Professional Development staff.
Responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development m and infrastructure.
