In this role, you will drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in areas of FMEAs and control plans for responsible programs and assures strong internal controls manufacturing processes.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain and develop stable quality manufacturing operations and provide continuous improvement to process, equipment, product, environmental and safety support to facility manufacturing pigments and color additives using processes such as: Milling, Blending, Mixing, Slurrying, Fluid Bed and Controlled Particle Drying, Spray Granulation, Dry Filtering, Sifting, etc.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the creation and implementation of long and short range plans, policies, and programs, and support associated with SRP (Sheldon Road Plant) manufacturing activities. Supervises the Quality Assurance department and reports product quality to upper management.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead all manufacturing sites efforts to ensure customer quality performance expectations and requirements are effectively managed; support compliance with customer specific requirements that include customer visits, and customer performance metrics/scorecard management.
In this role, you will be responsible for the personnel functions of the Quality Associate; including direction, assignment of work, hiring, development and training, disciplinary actions, termination, maintenance of all personnel records, management of work schedule and delegation / follow - up of tasks.
The position is responsible for direct management of Plant Quality, Customer Quality, and Quality Processes, as well as the development and establishment of a state of the art Quality System to comply with TS16949.
