In this role, you will support a detailed execution plan working with the NPI Manager and team members from different functional disciplines (engineering, manufacturing, commercial, scheduling, quality) in an effort to ensure the timely completion of the plan.
The Project Quality Engineer (PQE), ideal candidate will be responsible to support successful product and project launches by working with multiple disciplines including Engineering, Program Management and Manufacturing, to assure quality requirements are met by driving compliance to critical functional and system performance objectives.
Identify gaps and/or risks to the program and drive mitigation plans to avoid delays or unnecessary expenses; this will include obtaining the commitment of the various functional discipline leaders to ensure the overall recovery of the program.
The Project Engineer will work as part of a team to develop new and innovative automotive refinish spray equipment. Key responsibilities of this position include researching, designing and developing, testing and documentation of new products.
In this role, the selected must have familiarity with a wide range of unit operations is desired (filtration, drying, batch and continuous distillation, heat exchangers, pumps, evaporators, instrumentation and controls, etc.).
The incumbent will be responsible for project integrity and success against identified and agreed goals. Providing engineering and technical support to customers and internal departments, application engineering activities and documentation to support all activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure adherence to the project plans and schedules through meetings, follow-up documents, managing issues, facilitating team members jobs, and involving management support in overcoming problems.
