The Director of Marketing & Communications will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of all branding, advertising, promotions, digital/social, public relations, community relations and other elements to continue to build consumer ticket sales for Michigan International Speedway.
The Director of Business Development and Marketing organizes, directs and is responsible for all aspects of business development and marketing communications; including development, implementation, monitoring, updating and ongoing analyzation of the organizations strategic business development and marketing plan.
In this role, you will develop project plan with timelines and deliverables and leads project to successful completion, on - time and on - budget, from start to finish with limited senior management guidance.
This position requires the ability to manage the flow of data, perform analysis, generate summary reports and communicate by voice or data while being connected in the office, at home or while travelling by laptop or mobile device regularly without regard to time zone or day of the week.
In this role, you will work directly with clients in preparation of cost estimates, oversight of event management, event settlement. The selected candidate will conduct site visits and answers questions about facility from potential clients.
In this role, the selected candidate will direct and work with their team to implement other key initiatives such as tradeshow/local events/association meetings; outreach program support; media/advertising/digital/social messaging, customer program coordination, and update basic sheets/designs.
