The Quality Engineer will lead and facilitate the implementation of site specific quality initiatives and their continual improvement. Responsible for the site quality engineering activities of leading, coaching, and facilitating problem solving, analysis of data and continual improvement activities.
Facilitate strategies for customer communications that insure Company cross functional team alignment while maximizing value to customers; provide quality leadership to OEM customers by serving as liaison for customers on key customer quality deliverables and expectations.
Develop manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling and flow of operations for fabrication of fuel cells for automotive applications. Work is performed in a team environment where you will have daily interactions with product engineering, plant engineering, other manufacturing engineers and a multitude of others to successfully launch new products. You will be working in a centralized engineering center and plant environment where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of Li-Ion Battery Electronics/Module/Pack testing related activities including Concept Verification, Design Verification and Process Validation.
Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control.
